Chris Dikeakos Architects Inc. is welcoming applications for the positions of Sr. Architectural Technologist. We invite strong candidates to become part of our team.

Job type: Full-time, permanent

A Senior Technologist would have demonstrated technical and design knowledge with a proven track record of managing small to large size projects. The position would require history of excellent client and consultant management and the ability to make high level decisions throughout the duration of the project.

Senior Technologist Qualifications:

  • All appropriate for Junior and Intermediate Technologist;
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as an Architectural Technologist in and engineering/design-based firm, ideally from within Canada;
  • Proven communicator in teaching standards and materials;
  • Experience in MS project scheduling;
  • Experience with a variety of construction systems including wood frame, concrete, and steel.

 

Senior Technologist Responsibilities:

  • All appropriate for Junior and Intermediate Technologist;
  • Quality management – review drawings within the office that are not directly in projects team scope, provide mark-up and suggestions at a high level;
  • Review and apply standards throughout projects outside of project team scope;
  • Review and ensure project teams are delivering to set schedules;
  • Prepare detail specifications to CDA standards.

 $75,000-$85,000- Compensation to be commensurate with experience.
