Chris Dikeakos Architects Inc. is welcoming applications for the position of Administrative Assistant

Duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Schedule and confirm appointments
  • Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
  • Answer electronic enquiries
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  • Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  • Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information
  • Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  • Perform data entry

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in Office Administration
  • Minimum College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Experience using Microsoft programs - Outlook, Officem Excel, Word, Powerpoint, InDesign, SharePoint and other programs
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible and reliable in a fast paced, evolving, and changing environment
  • Ability to prioritize and excellent time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be a team player
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, including fluent English oral and written skills.

Hours will be 8:30am to 5:00 pm.
