Chris Dikeakos Architects Inc. (CDA) are currently seeking a Contract Administrator, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We welcome a positive, dynamic, and proactive individual who possesses good interpersonal and communication skills.  

Having served the high-end of the Development community for over three decades, the CDA team has become a leading choice for complex, mixed-use high-rise design and Master planned communities throughout the West Coast of North America. In the past decade alone, CDA has designed over 100 high-rise towers including condominiums, rental, hotel, office and hospitality uses and totaling well over 25,000,000 s.f. Prominent local projects include the transit-oriented 2M s.f. Station Square community in Metrotown and 1.7M s.f. SOLO District at the Brentwood Tower Center. We have a significant presence in municipalities throughout the Lower Mainland, Calgary, Edmonton, and Toronto, and United States, where we have completed numerous successful projects in the cities of Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Irvine, and San Diego, CA.

 

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

 

Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00

 

Responsibilities:

  • Review projects in the field to ensure compliance with the construction documents.
  • Ensure field reviews are undertaken in keeping with applicable codes and current practices.
  • Build and maintains favorable working relationships with clients, contractors, and all other team members.
  • Perform on-site field reviews, including life-safety, and produce field reports.
  • Make substantial completion inspections/determination with list of deficiencies.
  • Knowledge and experience in hi-rise residential and mixed-use preferred, however, all applicable experience will be considered.
  • A strong understanding of construction process paperwork handling, including but not limited to RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, certificates for payment, and letters of assurance.
  • In depth understanding of contract document drawings and specifications.
  • Forward thinking and ability to plan ahead and schedule, superior time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple project responsibilities simultaneously.

 

Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to Senior Technologist or Intermediate to Senior Architect with 5 or more years of Contract Administration experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Excellent organization and management skills.
