People 
Richard’s 35 years of extensive experience has covered large scale residential, commercial, mixed-use, public and urban design/master planning projects.
His education includes degrees in both Architecture and Planning from the University of Colorado and the University of British Columbia, respectively. Richard was a Principal at three of Vancouver’s largest Architectural Firms prior to joining CDA in 2007. He provides project and design leadership on many of the firm’s current complex mixed-use projects for many of the Lower Mainland’s leading developers. Richard strives to achieve strong communication with his clients to understand their needs and objectives while at the same time providing creative and responsive design solutions that are embraced by a variety of stakeholders. Richard has won several design awards for both building and master planning projects.
