Nadia Said

Nadia has over twenty years of experience in British Columbia as an architect, with extensive experience in residential hi-rise and mixed-use projects. She led many complex projects from the early design stages through construction. Her main passion is innovation in building forms, and balancing functionality with creative architectural concepts.

Nadia first joined Chris Dikeakos Architects in 2001 and was the team leader for projects like the ELECTRA hi-rise in San Diego, and the Murano Lofts in New Westminster. She re-joined Chris Dikeakos Architects for a second term in 2014 and was responsible for projects like the PEAK in the Simon Fraser University area, and the Glendale Towers on Westview Street in Coquitlam. Her other work experience included the Metropolitan mixed-use developments (M1, M2, and M3) in the Coquitlam City Center area, and the Mews mixed-use building in Wesbrook Village, UBC.

Her education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Baghdad in 1990, and a Master of Advanced Studies in Architecture from the University of British Columbia in 1998. She is a member of the Architectural Institute of British Columbia, and the Alberta Association for Architects. Many of the projects Nadia worked on have received awards and recognitions.
