Mike Alivojvodic

Mike has more than twenty years of experience providing comprehensive architectural design services covering several project types including gaming and entertainment facilities, hotels, educational, healthcare and residential.

His education includes a graduate degree from the School of Architecture and an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts, both from the University of British Columbia. Prior to joining CDA as a Principal in 2003, Mike’s contributions on healthcare projects with his previous firm, Stantec, have been recognized by the Centre for healthcare Design for both the Surrey memorial Hospital Children’s Health Centre and the VGH Jim Pattison Pavilion. He has been responsible for the design and construction administration for a variety of projects located in British Columbia, Eastern Canada, the West Coast of USA and the Caribbean ranging from large- scale institutional projects to small-scale interiors. This includes new builds as well as very complex renovations. Mike’s collaborative approach yields design solutions by a thoughtful understanding of program, innovation and sustainability, developing a consensus and unique solution tailored to each project.
